On November 10, 2025, the Kernersville Police Department partnered with Coca-Cola—with company employees also stepping in—to serve lunch to veterans at the VA Hospital. Students from East Forsyth JROTC joined the effort, helping to serve and spending meaningful time interacting with the veterans.
