The U.S. Air Force secretly operated a fleet of MiG fighter jets during the Cold War 😳🇺🇸 Through a classified program known as “Constant Peg,” the Air Force flew real Soviet MiG-17s, MiG-21s, and MiG-23s from a remote base in Nevada. Only a small number of pilots knew about it. American fighter pilots were trained to dogfight against actual enemy aircraft, giving the U.S. a major tactical advantage. The entire program remained classified for nearly 30 years and was only publicly acknowledged
