Sharing a little progress on Sunday’s encaustic tile. I was just practicing a new texture technique… then adding a bit of pigment stick for depth… and then suddenly my brain whispered, “Hey, what about a horizon line?” Next thing I know—boom—a full-blown landscape vibe appeared. Apparently my wax has its own plans. She’ll need a couple months to cure (encaustic is basically the fine wine of art mediums). But the depth and shine that develop over time?
