The levator scapulae stretch helps relieve tension in the muscle, which runs from the cervical spine to the upper part of the scapula. To do this stretch, start by sitting or standing upright with your back straight. Rotate your head about 45 degrees to one side, looking toward your shoulder. Tuck your chin slightly and slowly bring your head down toward your armpit. Use your hand on the same side as the direction you’re moving to gently apply downward pressure on the back of your head to deepen
