Functional neurologic disorder is a real condition where psychological factors disrupt how the brain controls the body. Scans are often normal, which leads people to wrongly assume symptoms are fake. Neurologists can tell the difference. FND doesn’t follow normal neurologic patterns, and the symptoms aren’t something a person can consciously create or stop. @AVA 🦋 #neurologicaldisorder #anxietyrelief #psychosomatic #psychologytok
