🏔️This is the last year you can swim at Crater Lake before the one and only trail (Cleetwood Cove) to the lake closes for a few years of rehab. The water is freezing—and no wetsuits allowed—but I was still sad to miss out on getting close to the crystal clear water during the last summer it’s open! Once they clear the rockslide/landslide debris (I recommend checking AllTrails for the latest), definitely don’t skip Cleetwood Cove Trail in 2025. We’ll be back after the years of rehab—though next
