Eight children and teens were killed early Sunday in a mass shooting in Shreveport, Louisiana, authorities said. The suspected shooter is also dead, according to police. “I don’t know what people think in the crevices of their mind to want to harm another human being, let alone that of children who have their whole life ahead of them,” Shreveport City Councilwoman Tabatha Taylor said at a news conference following the shooting.
