A$AP Rocky’s “STAY HERE 4 LIFE” Samples Ken Carson’s “mewtwo” #asaprocky #dontbedumb #kencarson #mewtwo On STAY HERE 4 LIFE, A$AP Rocky pulls the core beat and melodic elements from “mewtwo” by Ken Carson, using it as the backbone of the track and shaping it into a moodier, more atmospheric backdrop for his verses. This modern trap flip keeps the original’s energy while giving it Rocky’s signature vibe.

ASAP Rocky & Brent Faiyaz made magic on this 1 🔥🪄 “Stay Here 4 Life,” which contains a sample of Ken Carson’s “mewtwo,” has an interesting backstory. It was originally released as a solo Brent Faiyaz song called “full moon (fall in tokyo)” in August of 2025, but only on his website and YouTube. Fans have been wanting the song to be put on streaming services since then, but now it’s apparent the reason it wasn’t is because he gave the song to Rocky and here we are. My early favorite on the albu

Bars on Instagram: "A$AP Rocky sampled Ken Carson’s “mewtwo” on his song “STAY HERE 4 LIFE” off his new album ‘Don’t Be Dumb’ 🔥 Ken Carson was the first to use this beat on “Mewtwo.” Brent Faiyaz later recorded “Full Moon (Fall in Tokyo)” over the same instrumental, but the song was never officially released and only surfaced later through leaks. A$AP Rocky ultimately sampled the version associated with Brent, though the beat itself traces back to Ken Carson’s original song Did you catch this s
