He discovers that the killings are carried out by the legendary Headless Horseman and must unravel a supernatural mystery linked to the town's secrets to stop the vengeful spirit. Sleepy Hollow | Behind-The-Scenes Tim Burton’s Sleepy Hollow may have crossed it’s 20th anniversary, but there are still some things that happened behind the scenes that fans don’t know. -Tim Burton Specifically Asked To Have the Heads Spin Around To create the effect, the team had to create mold’s of the victims’ heads to attach to a mechanism which would make the mold spin around. They also created a skeleton from electro-magnets so that they could flip a switch to make the fake body fall limp
