A 13-year-old boy died after falling from Brewer Bluff near Buffalo National River, according to the National Park Service. Park officials said the boy was hiking with a friend when he lost his footing. 07/09/24 - Ponca has received rainfall and the upper Buffalo National River is at a floatable stage! Right now, the Ponca gage indicates a moderate floating level, but because the Buffalo didn’t flood, that level could drop quickly.
