Homicide detectives identified two 17-year-old boys as suspects in the shooting death of Erik Gandara Orozco. The detectives obtained arrest warrants for the teens and took the suspects into custody with help from specialized units and an outside law enforcement agency, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

Detectives have made an arrest in a shooting that left a man dead in south Sacramento late Tuesday afternoon. The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office says, around 4:30 p.m., deputies responded to 39th Street and Mascot Avenue for reports of a shooting.
