The Pittsburgh Steelers continue their reported search for a No. 2 wide receiver to put opposite DK Metcalf. Several notable names have been connected to the Steelers, and now Tony Pauline reports that Pittsburgh has its eye on three noteworthy receivers.

Miami Dolphins coaches have been impressed with progress from rookie DT Kenneth Grant. Elsewhere, WR Jaylen Waddle has a new injury surface.

The news on Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (hamstrings) is encouraging considering the passing game has been slowed by injuries to WR Tyreek Hll (knee) and TE Darren Waller (pectoral).

Tua Tagovailoa explained that his height affected his ability to see receivers like Jaylen Waddle during plays, contributing to Waddle's four targets in Miami's loss.

"Two names I am hearing as trade targets are Jaylen Waddle of the Miami Dolphins and Calvin Ridley of the Tennessee Titans ," Pauline reports. "According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, the Dolphins don't plan on trading Waddle, but that could change if Miami continues to lose and the right deal is placed in front of them."

"I’m not the tallest guy in the back there either, so being able to see and then sometimes when that happens, you don’t want to just throw it blindly and you’ve got to progress. I think that had some merit to reasons as to why that happened for Waddle.

In less-than-ideal conditions in Cleveland, Tagovailoa threw three interceptions and was benched during the game. Tagovailoa did not blame weather, however, for his lack of throws toward Waddle. Instead, he pointed to his height as the reason he didn't get the ball more to Waddle.

Six teams are on bye in Week 8 of the NFL season, and eight inter-conference matchups are on deck. We also have seven backup quarterbacks filling in for injured starters, plus three rookies starting in Week 8.
