The House is taking a final vote on President Trump's "big, beautiful bill" after a dramatic overnight session, and record-breaking speech by Hakeem Jeffries.

Brian Fitzpatrick, a Pennsylvania Republican who is one of the most moderate in his party, was a surprising 'no' vote against advancing the bill. Unlike other Republicans who have voted 'no' and are now being courted in person by House Republican leaders, Fitzpatrick raced off the floor and away from the chamber after he voted no.

The president exhorted Republicans to get behind the legislation after efforts to pass it hit resistance. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries decried the package in a record-long floor speech.
