Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi discussed the importance of 'high-level exchanges' with Japan's Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi, suggesting a possible meeting between China's President Xi Jinping and Japan's new Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi at the upcoming APEC summit.
