The 2-Hour Final Episode of Stranger Things Will Premiere Both on Netflix and In Theaters Nationwide
Netflix is doing stranger things lately — and this time it's both literal and figurative. The series finale episode of Stranger Things will officially be shown in movie theaters, a move that goes against the streamer’s well-known ethos.
Fans of “Stranger Things” will get the chance to step into Hawkins, Indiana, when Netflix and CicLAvia team up for Stranger Things 5: One Last Ride, a car-free open streets event along Melrose Avenue celebrating the show’s fifth and final season.
Stranger Things Season 5 will consist of eight episodes — and we already know their names: “The Crawl,” “The Vanishing of…,” “The Turnbow Trap,” “Sorcerer,” “Shock Jock,” “Escape from Camazotz,” “The Bridge” and “The Rightside Up.” Ross Duffer shared the runtime for just the first four episodes of the season, aka "Volume 1," on Instagram.
In the conversation, Matarazzo, who plays Dustin Henderson, the endearing D&D -loving goofball who often serves as the comedic relief of the Hawkins crew, talked about how co-creators Matt and Ross Duffer prepared their cast for the inevitable end of their Upside Down adventures.
