When Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts threw a 40-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Jahan Dotson with 5:59 left in Sunday’s 38-20 victory over the New York Giants, the former Alabama signal-caller reached a milestone in his NFL career.

Hurts peppered the Vikings' stingy defense with deep ball after deep ball to lead the Eagles to a 28-22 victory on Sunday, Oct. 19.

It sounds almost comical when one thinks about it. Throw out a two-year run with Shane Steichen as Philadelphia Eagles starting quarterback, and Jalen Hurts hasn't enjoyed consecutive seasons with the same offensive coordinator since high school.

Fox rules analyst Dean Blandino said, "To me, he is pushing forward, he is reaching. That is an early whistle, in my opinion."

Saquon Barkley and Tank Bigsby combined to exceed 250 yards rushing. Jalen Hurts tossed four touchdown passes. Two of them landed in the expecting hands of his phenomenal tight end, Dallas Goedert. With seven TD receptions on the season now, he has set a new season high. He also leads all Eagles receivers.

The Eagles rebounded from the NFC East upset to edge the Minnesota Vikings on the road, opening up their dormant passing game in the process. The Giants, meanwhile, looked poised for another magical victory against the Denver Broncos,
