The Los Angeles Lakers and Lebron James have reportedly not had conversations about a contract extension, which makes a trade involving the 21-time NBA All-Star seem more likely.

While many initially felt the Los Angeles Lakers trading star forward LeBron James would be out of the question, one expert now feels the door is beginning to open for his eventual departure from Hollywood.

Brian Windhorst said on ESPN Cleveland that the superstar and the Lakers are "beginning to move apart" and that this is the beginning of the end of his time with the franchise (h/t Lakers Daily ).
