A federal judge will hear arguments Monday over whether detainees at a temporary immigrant detention center in the Florida Everglades have been denied their legal rights.

Attorneys representing detainees held at the controversial makeshift immigration detention center dubbed “Alligator Alcatraz” are in federal court seeking to allow detainees to meet with attorneys.

The Florida GOP had released merchandise, including baseball caps, coffee mugs, and T-shirts, bearing the branding “THE DEPORT DEPOT” in orange block lettering.
