The latest weather maps show that several parts of the country are likely to experience snow this week, as freezing conditions are expected before the end of the month
The Met Office has warned that there could be heavy and thundery showers in many parts of the country on Monday, along with strong gales in coastal regions
Snow is due to move in from Scotland and creep further south in mere weeks, as the Met Office warns of unsettled conditions.
By Sunday morning, conditions are forecast to start clearing from the west, leaving residual showers over east and southeast England. Following the weekend's rainy spell, cooler and drier air is predicted to sweep in from the northwest, reports the Mirror.
Other parts of England where snow is expected that day are Derbyshire, Greater Manchester, West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and Lancashire. Snow have also been forecast to arrive over Wales, affecting Powys, Ceredigion, Gwynedd, Conwy, Denbighshire, Wrexham and Flintshire.
