As the United States marks its 250th anniversary this summer, a convoy of six mobile museums, known as the Freedom Trucks, is traveling across the nation.

The Raceway gas station along Highway 63 near Interstate 10 exit 68 was demolished Monday as part of a plan to convert the site into a truck stop.

Construction equipment manufacturers Bobcat, Case, Caterpillar, Deere, Kioti, Komatsu and others trotted out a variety of eye-catching machinery.
