The Reality the Raiders Have To Face
The Las Vegas Raiders have a lot of problems in 2025. From top to bottom, this team has very little going for it, other than a high pick in the 2026 NFL draft.
Following another loss on Sunday, the Las Vegas Raiders seem to be looking everywhere for answers. The team is now 2-6 on the season, following a crushing 30-29 overtime defeat at the hands of the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9.
The New York Giants and Las Vegas Raiders reportedly held "exploratory talks" about a potential Evan Neal trade.
The Giants became the latest team to make a coaching change this week, firing Brian Daboll after a disappointing 2–8 start to the 2025 season. Offensive coordinator Mike Kafka will take over in the interim, and is tasked with guiding rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart—among others—through what's seemingly a lost remainder of the campaign.
A truly terrible TNF game and fourth-quarter meltdowns from the Jaguars and Giants headline the list of losers from NFL Week 10.
Jameis Winston has passed fellow veteran Russell Wilson on the New York Giants' depth chart and will reportedly start Sunday if Jaxson Dart stays in concussion protocol.
The Raiders signed LB Jamin Davis to the active roster and placed G/C Jackson Powers-Johnson on the Reserve/Injured list, the team announced Tuesday.
Additionally, the Raiders have signed kicker Greg Joseph to the team’s practice squad. Las Vegas fired special teams coordinator Tom McMahon after last week’s loss, as kicker Daniel Carlson has made just 12-of-16 field goals and 11-of-12 extra points this season.
