Joe Flacco, Cincinnati Bengals
Digest more
Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco sounds pretty sure that he'll be able to play against the Bears on Sunday, but the outlook isn't nearly as bright for defensive end Trey Hendrickson.
Flacco was traded to the Bengals on Oct. 7 and then started a Week 6 game for them just five days later in a 27-18 loss to the Green Bay Packers. In Week 7, he had to to turn around and play a Thursday game against the Steelers and he ended up throwing for 342 yards and three touchdowns in a 33-31 win that came after just two days practice.
If Flacco is out, this Bengals offense will take a huge hit. With Browning, the Bengals had 2-of-4 games with less than 200 yards of total offense. However, we can play devils advocate. The Bengals faced the Jaguars, Vikings, Broncos, and Lions defenses in those games. This are all very stout units.
