Microsoft announced that NuGet 6.0 is being included in recently released Visual Studio 2022 and .NET 6.0 out of the box.

Microsoft says Windows admins can now opt into automatic updates for .NET (.NET Core) via Microsoft Update (MU) on Windows Server systems.

Microsoft announced that .NET 5.0 will no longer receive servicing updates including security updates after May 8. Users are advised to move to .NET 6.0.
