Saturday Predictions: Missouri at Vanderbilt
Vanderbilt hosts Missourah (spits) in what the Southeastern Conference for some unknown reason is calling a “conference game,” even though Vanderbilt is clearly hosting a Big 8 team. Also, this is unironically a game between the #15 team in the country and the #10 team in the country, and you’ll never believe which of those Vanderbilt is.
Vanderbilt student Tyler Hwang won $500,000 on ESPN’s “College GameDay” on Saturday morning by making a 33-yard field goal during host Pat McAfee’s weekly kicking contest. McAfee also donated another $250,000 to charity, bringing the successful kick’s total to $750,000.
The Commodores took Missouri to two overtimes last season and they're favored as they return home to Nashville. They're coming off of a 31-24 win against LSU, which was their second triumph against a top-15 team -- LSU ranked 10th entering the Week 8 slate -- this season. Vanderbilt is also undefeated at home.
