A Los Angeles Chargers beat reporter shared an update on injured running back Omarion Hampton and it has led to concern about his ability to return from injured reserve in Week 10 when first eligible.
The Los Angeles Chargers made two huge running back acquisitions in the 2025 NFL Offseason, but both players are currently on the injured reserve. Najee Harris signed a one-year, $5.25 million deal with the Bolts to help share the backfield load with first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Omarion Hampton.
Having lost top two options Omarion Hampton and Najee Harris to significant injuries, the Los Angeles Chargers are “desperate” for an upgrade at running back, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports. A deal doesn’t appear imminent, however, as Vacchiano notes there’s more demand than supply leading up to the Nov. 4 trade deadline.
