All told, Wednesday season 2 is comprised of eight episodes. The first four are currently streaming on Netflix, and the last four arrive on September 3. Yes, and it finds our titular hero returning to Nevermore Academy as the school's "savior" following the events of season 1.

We know that Ortega’s character loves herself some black, but this dress certainly wasn’t conveying schoolgirl. It seemed more like something Wednesday’s mom (played in the series by Catherine Zeta-Jones) would wear, symbolizing the maturation of Wednesday, and Ortega’s desire to display a more adult image herself.

Soon she’s caught up in a supernatural murder mystery involving fatally beaky crows; dealing with an obsessive, disturbingly round-eyed fan (Evie Templeton); and bickering with mother Morticia ( Catherine Zeta-Jones, who tends to strike a quiet note that seems almost genuinely mournful).
