The FDA has expanded its recall of frozen shrimp over potential radioactive contamination, now affecting more U.S. states.

FDA expands frozen shrimp recall to nine states, including California; consumers urged to check bags and not eat listed products.

More bagged, frozen shrimp are part of another recall issued by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on Aug. 21. This recall affects 13 products that may have also been contaminated with radioactive isotope Cesium-137 across nine states.
