Central Atlantic & was then upgraded to tropical storm Gabrielle later Wed. morning. Strong west/southwest shear & a good deal of dry air has limited organization & strength of Gabrielle so far but a “better” environment looks is in the offing over the next few days & “Gabby” should become a hurricane soon & may be Cat.
