Tropical Storm Gabrielle formed Wednesday over the central Atlantic Ocean, becoming the seventh named storm of the 2025 Atlantic hurricane season.
Tropical Storm Kiko continues to weaken as it passes directly north of the Big Island. At 11 a.m. today, the center of Kiko was about 220 miles north of Hilo and at the lower-end of tropical storm status with maximum sustained winds of 40 mph with locally higher gusts.
