A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued in parts of Massachusetts as storms are set to bring damaging winds, flooding, and possible tornadoes.

Powerful thunderstorms tore across parts of the Northeast and New England on Saturday, including reports of a tornado that caused damage in central Massachusetts.

Several counties across Massachusetts are under a severe thunderstorm watch for Saturday. The National Weather Service announced that the watch was put into effect at 1:10 p.m. and will stay until 8 p.m. The following Massachusetts counties are on their radar:
