After his fight with Gervonta "Tank" Davis was scrapped, Jake Paul will now step into the ring for a professional heavyweight bout against Anthony Joshua.

By hook or by crook, Jake Paul has been urged to avoid a potential end-of-year clash with former world champion Anthony Joshua. Appearing to finally book a December return to the ring off the back of this week’s shelved showdown with Gervonta Davis, the polarizing Jake Paul had apparently agreed on the biggest fight of his young boxing career.

On Nov. 15, 2024, Paul defeated boxing legend Mike Tyson via unanimous decision. Tyson, who has a spring exhibition bout scheduled against Floyd Mayweather Jr., recently said he wants a rematch with Paul, arguing he would fare better this time around.

Carl Froch has discussed whether or not it will be him who steps in as a late replacement for Gervonta Davis to fight Jake Paul later in November.
