YouTube TV customers no longer have access to ABC or ESPN — and the blackout comes right in the middle of both the college football and NFL seasons. Disney’s networks went dark on YouTube TV when the previous carriage deal expired at midnight on Friday, Oct. 31 after the two sides were unable to agree on a deal renewal.
YouTube TV and ESPN have failed to come to an agreement which leaves streaming subscribers without Disney products.
YouTube TV says that Disney is proposing terms that would be too costly, resulting in higher prices and fewer choices for its subscribers.
