Real Madrid faces Juventus in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025 (10/22/25) at Bernabéu in Madrid, Spain.

After winning the Champions League title in 2024, Real Madrid came up short in their bid for a repeat last season, falling in the quarterfinals. This season, the club looks very good, beating Marseille and Kairat Almaty, scoring seven goals in their first two matches.

Tuesday saw a host of goals, with 43 across all matches. The biggest teams -- Arsenal, Barcelona, Inter, PSG -- all advanced easily, none scoring fewer than four goals. Manchester City and Newcastle also both won, though the day was not without upsets as Napoli went down to PSV Eindhoven 6-2.

Champions League MD3 was about the goals, and lots of them: 71 across 18 games, to be precise, with some statement wins for tournament favorites (Arsenal, PSG) and big clubs that needed a lift (Liverpool).
