The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Houston Rockets in double overtime at the Paycom Center in the NBA season opener on Tuesday, Oct. 21.
The Rockets had 21 turnovers, four each by Sengun, Thompson and Durant, who had most of the playmaking duties. When the Rockets used second-year guard Reed Sheppard at the point to help with the playmaking, Oklahoma City immediately hunted him on defense.
Thunder fans had a lot to celebrate on Tuesday. The team unveiled a championship banner and won against ex-star Kevin Durant and the Houston Rockets.
