A new Netflix murder mystery based on a bestselling novel has debuted on Rotten Tomatoes with a near-perfect Tomatometer score from critics.

The Thursday Murder Club closely follows the plot of the first book, which made us all fall in love with the titular crime-solving pensioners: Elizabeth (Helen Mirren), Joyce (Celia Imrie), Ron (Pierce Brosnan) and Ibrahim (Ben Kingsley).

The duo were part of panel at a screening of the movie at the British library which What's on Netflix attended virtually.
