Meta also failed to give users an effective way to challenge content moderation decisions, the EC said.
While the company announced job cuts in artificial intelligence, it also expanded plans to replace privacy and risk auditors with more automated systems.
A Meta executive told employees the job cuts are meant to help the company move faster when it comes to its AI efforts.
