Ex-NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez was stabbed during an altercation with a truck driver in Indianapolis, which resulted in criminal charges against the Fox Sports analyst, according to court records.

Sanchez, who was in town to broadcast the Week 5 meeting between the Indianapolis Colts and Las Vegas Raiders, is alleged to have been involved in an altercation. The 38-year-old was stabbed, hospitalized, and arrested after allegedly attacking a 69-year-old man, who also suffered serious bodily harm.

The new charge against Sanchez, a level 5 felony which could carry a 1-to-6-year sentence, was announced by officials on Monday morning.
