Los Angeles Lakers superstar Luka Dončić will sit out Saturday's road game against the Portland Trail Blazers with left groin soreness, the team announced Friday.

The Lakers have ruled Luka out for their game against Portland due to left groin soreness. Unfortunately, not only will LA’s backcourt depth be weakened, but their frontcourt options might be in even worse condition. Starting center Deandre Ayton and backup big Jaxson Hayes are both listed as questionable.

Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Dončić and Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo lead the way as the NBA on Monday announced the starters for the 2026 All-Star Game. Ten All-Star starters were announced, with five from each conference.
