Former Vice President Kamala Harris floated the possibility of running again for the White House in 2028, making her strongest statement to date about a future presidential bid after losing to President Donald Trump last fall.
Harris has been on tour marketing her new memoir, “ 107 Days ,” in which she suggested her political career will continue after Trump handily defeated her in the 2024 presidential election. Harris was elevated to the Democratic nomination after her boss, former President Joe Biden, ended his reelection campaign.
Harris previously said that her near future would not be in "elected office" but has not ruled out a third bid for the White House.
I am not done,” the former vice president told the BBC in her strongest comments so far on her political plans.
Kamala Harris is not ruling out another run for the White House. In an interview with the BBC posted on Saturday, Harris said she expects a woman will be US president in the coming years, and it could “possibly” be her. “I am not done,” she said.
Former Vice President Kamala Harris uses profanity to suggest the Trump administration was "crazy" during Los Angeles event where she promoted her new book.
