After six years as a Nets assistant, Jordan Ott returned to Brooklyn on Monday as head coach of the Suns, leading them to a 126-117 victory at Barclays Center.

Jordan Ott wasn't too pleased with the officiating as the Suns fell to the Pistons on Thursday night in a close game.

Ishbia and Phoenix general manager Brian Gregory are MSU graduates, as well. Gregory was an assistant coach under Izzo while Ishbia was a walk-on player. Legendary MSU captain and former Pistons first-round draft pick Mateen Cleaves is also on the Phoenix player development team as an assistant.

Jordan Ott should win the 2025-26 NBA Coach of the Year award after leading a masterful turnaround for the Suns.
