EF-0 tornado confirmed in Grimes County
ANDERSON, Texas - The National Weather Service (NWS) has confirmed that a tornado touched down in Grimes County overnight. The NWS reported that an EF-0 touched down near Anderson, Texas, at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday, during the first round of severe storms for southeast Texas.
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - After reviewing images and video of damage in Grimes County from Saturday morning’s storms along with radar data, the National Weather Service in Houston has confirmed a tornado touched down in Anderson.
Storms will linger in San Antonio through Saturday morning, but another round of storms could develop across Central and East Texas later in the day.
