Former NBA journeyman Damon Jones was among the 34 people arrested by the FBI on Thursday morning in connection with its investigation into illegal gambling. Jones is accused of revealing insider information on players' injury status for the purpose of placing a bet on a game where the player's team is involved.

Miami Heat player Terry Rozier, Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups and former Cleveland Cavaliers assistant coach Damon Jones were arrested on Thursday in connection with an illegal gambling investigation.

The Feb. 9, 2023, game between the Bucks and Lakers that was referenced in the indictment was one that LeBron James did not play in.

Damon Jones is among the defendants in a rigged poker scheme and a federal prosecutor said Chauncey Billups was among those who played in the rigged games.
