After being ranked the No. 4 preseason team in college football in August, the Clemson Tigers' head coach believes that the team bought into the outside noise.

According to Dabo Swinney, Cade Klubnik has returned to practice and done everything the coaching staff has asked.

According to the Atlantic Coast Conference, the game between FSU and Clemson will kick off at 7:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, November 8. There are three TV options as the contest could be broadcast on ESPN, ESPN2, or the ACC Network. The TV designation will be officially finalized after the games this weekend.

In the midst of their second bye of 2025, Dabo Swinney's Clemson Tigers are just a middle-of-the-road college football team heading into November.

Clemson football once again finds itself favored heading into its next matchup, this time opening as a 3.5-point favorite over Duke. Despite being the betting favorite in every game this season, the Tigers are just 2-5 against the spread, including a recent 24-21 loss to Georgia Tech when they were favored by three.

Before turning to November, season-long expectations have not been met by Clemson. Many predicted the Tigers to not only make the College Football Playoff but win the national championship as well. Sitting at 3-4 through seven games likely is not what Dabo Swinney expected at this stage.
