Elon Musk-led xAI has filed a lawsuit against Apple for giving preferential treatment to ChatGPT on the App Store at the cost of other rival AI products.

Elon Musk threatened to sue Apple for favoring ChatGPT over Grok in the App Store — and now he has. On Monday, Musk's AI company xAI officially filed a lawsuit against Apple as well as ChatGPT creator OpenAI over the two companies' business partnership.

Elon Musks firm had previously accused the Cupertino-based tech giant of giving special favor to ChatGPT in its App Store listings and editorial features.
