The Saints will head into Sunday's road game against the Panthers without a clear answer on running back Alvin Kamara's status.

The New Orleans Saints have made several adjustments to their offense. Following the trade of Rashid Shaheed to the Seattle Seahawks, the team has now added a new weapon to support star running back Alvin Kamara.

But, despite his lower workload and lesser efficiency, Kamara isn't concerned. He's trusting Kellen Moore and the coaching staff, putting his head down, and accepting his smaller workload this season for the Saints.

Carolina's defensive coordinator knows at this level that any team can surprise you - and he isn't taking New Orleans lightly.

This milestone comes after weeks of rumors that Kamara’s day in a Saints uniform could come to an end. Kamara is now 30 years old and the Saints are clearly in rebuild mode. Also, several teams around the NFL, like the Los Angeles Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs, could use a running back to bolster a playoff run.

Kamara (ankle) was limited at practice Thursday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
